Operational flexibility

Adapts imaging area to clinical needs (small FOV for a single tooth, medium for a jaw, large for the full cranium), significantly reducing radiation exposure.

High precision and resolution

Delivers detailed 3D images with exceptional spatial resolution, enabling accurate diagnostics and personaliized treatment planning.

Reduced radiation exposure

By targeting only the area of interest, it minimizes radiation dose compared to traditional CT scanners.

Clinical efficiency

Provides 3D visualization of anatomical structures, streamlining diagnosis, surgical planning and post-operative follow-up.

Versatility

A comprehensive tool for dental professionals, supporting diverse applications (implantology, orthodontics, oral surgery).

QuickVision 3D Implant planning software

QuickVision 3D is a comprehensive software package that generates panoramic images, cross-sections and bone models based on axial image readings, enabling you to identify the mandibular canal and show the 3D bone model to calculate bone density.

QuickVision 3D allows you to simulate implant placement on 2D and 3D models. To facilitate surgery, the patient's main anatomical features are identified: the exact location of the implant, possible collisions and many other clinical aspects.

The QuickVision 3D implant planning software will be your best ally in making prosthetic implant surgery faster, safer and more efficient.

FAQ

Common questions about dental panoramics and cone beam systems.

If you have questions we haven't addressed, please use our contact form. We have a dedicated section for technical questions and an expert able to guide you.

1. What is the dose difference between a CBCT and a conventional panoramic?
A CBCT (Cone Beam) delivers a higher radiation dose than a 2D panoramic, but much lower than a medical CT scanner.
Good practice is to adapt the field of view (FOV) to the clinical need:
the smaller the volume, the lower the dose.
2. Is the supplied software sufficient for my use?
Owandy's native QuickVision 3D software is powerful for reconstruction and visualization, and also:
For implantology, by integrating planning and STL export. We use an open-software principle to guarantee the broadest compatibility with your tools (3Shape, Dolphin, NemoStudio, OrthoAnalyzer…).
3. What is the quality of after-sales service and technical support?
This is very important. Our distributors are responsive and certified after training at Owandy's premises. You benefit from a technical hotline and remote assistance. Spare parts are available in France and worldwide.
4. What are the installation requirements?
Even though the device is compact: It requires a dedicated room, compliant with radiation protection rules. The room must be approved by a PCR (Radiation Protection Specialist). Ask your installer for an installation plan.
5. Is specific training required to operate it?
Yes, even though the I-Max 3D XPRO is fairly simple to use: Patient positioning, acquisition protocols, artifact management… Reading and interpreting 3D (legal requirement: the practitioner is responsible for the entire volume).
Owandy offers 3D imaging training with the purchase of its products.
